Got some great news that I can’t share with the public at large. Doesn’t directly concern me, but huge for members of the family. Hopefully news will be official soon and I can share with all.
As for me, just got back from my Minneapolis/Boston/San Diego/Los Angeles trip. Fascinating business trip and wonderful time seeing family and friends in LA. Pictures coming soon -- after I clear enough space on my hard drive to download them off the camera.
Beth got Anne and I into The Tonight Show, which was an incredibly cool experience. Got to go backstage and sit in the Green Room.
Mom is doing a bit better. Able to walk around a little. Spent a few hours with her while in MA. Took her to the bank, Walmart, Grocery Shopping and installed an air conditioner. Not bad for a single afternoon.
Ate at Tony Roma’s in the Mall of America. Me = Fat.
Got my Wii installed over the weekend. The dogs don’t like it when Anne and I play tennis - she gets too into it! Great fun. Visitors welcome.
Saw “The Dark Knight.” Much better than I expected. By far the best movie I’ve seen so far this year - though two of the six people I saw it with thought it was too violent. Ledger and Eckhart are great.
Nearly through our first month on a budget. I went $500 over! Not good. Especially when I was on expense for 25% of the month. Budgets suck.
No travel planned until August 10th. Woo hoo!
Trip to Seattle coming up in mid-August. Trying to get Anne to come with me...
The 3000GT is dead. Think it’s the battery. Been thinking that for the last six weeks. Tried to jump start it today but unsuccessful. Tried to get the battery out, but one screw taunts me. I have so little practical knowledge...

Unexpected side-effect of having dogs: getting emotional at movie scenes that I never would have before. Example: see “I am Legend”
What is happening with the Sox?!?!
Disappointed Celtics couldn’t resign Posey. Hopefully they can pick up someone in free agency.
Not liking all the stories that this is Manny’s last year with the Sox. Not that I disagree with it - but not liking it.
Oh, Kaylee needs her belly rubbed. Got to run.
