Anne and I had a little fun a couple of weekends ago and created our own “PTI” show.  Thought it would be fun to riff on some various topics to keep as a bit of a time-capsule that we can go back ad watch to remember what was happening at the time.  

 

The original plan was for me and my friend Mark Mattson to do this show and do crazy topics relating to his son Ethan’s sports performance.  Things like “Over/Under: 25 goals for Ethan this soccer season.”  The Ethan would watch it and get all fired up.  Thought it would be hilarious.  So this episode was a dry run with my wife and now ex-cohost (her choice, not mine.)

 

 

I download “PTI” from I-Tunes and find it to be the best way to pass time on my flights.  The show actually improves when you don’t have to see these two and the banter as they go to commercial (which is cut off on the tv version for advertising time) is one of the best parts.

 

I wasn’t able to make the video LOOK like the PTI show.  Very disappointed in the iMovie video editing features in the way of being able to add text.  

 

Rook, you’ve got the ProTools -- can their video editing do a PTI format very easily?  Basically video taking 80% of the screen.  Subject at the bottom.  Running countdown clock and continual text box on the right side of the screen.  That easy to do with your tools?
