Welcome to Clay Cups
This is a website for the friends, relatives, and supporters of Ernesto and Angie. We are two Christ-followers who are serving the Dalits of India. We have chosen the clay cup to be our rallying cry because it is a picture of the brokenness experienced by this downtrodden caste. The Dalits of India must use these cups when around higher castes, and when they are done drinking, they must break the cup on the ground. This is the only way to guarantee that they will not “contaminate” someone of a higher caste. 300 million people who are told they are as useless and disposable as that clay cup. But they don’t know that they are a treasure in a jar of clay. Jesus cares, and we are gonna tell everyone we can about His great grace.
