2007 Year in Review by Jacqui Cole Gavilan chapter held two , three star shows in 2007. We had an art and tack sale in conjunction with our June show. This year we hired a caterer to provide both breakfast and lunch for the June show and the August show. The Chapter gave complimentary breakfasts and lunch to our volunteers. In May we had a group trail ride and picnic for Cinco de Mayo. In November we held our holiday tea and in December we had our annual Christmas party and gift exchange. We are currently working on a two day competition clinic for early 2008.

2008 Message From Our New Chapter Chair by Julia Hutchinson Welcome to 2008! Let me introduce myself. I am Julia Hutchinson, the new Gavilan Chapter Chair for 2008. I am very excited about the upcoming year. We have a very enthusiastic and energetic Board. The Board is working on a number of great projects that will help members expand their knowledge of dressage, provide additional showing opportunities, keep members informed of chapter events. Newly Expanded Website We continue to build on our newly launched website www.gavilanchaptercds.org. Look for a full calendar with events, shows and meetings. In addition, the website will contain information regarding our volunteer program and sponsorship programs as well. This is the place to go to find out what is going on in the chapter.
