Come join us for a two day educational event. Let the Gavilan Chapter help you prepare for this show season with strategies that go beyond "Halt at X". Two judges offer their test strategies to help you ride your best for the scores you want. Work in a classroom reviewing the mechanics of riding your test and then apply your new skills in the afternoon competition clinic. February 2, Saturday February 3, Sunday Judge: Laurel Bruun Judge: Natalie Lamping Test Level: Training, First, Second Test Level: Third, Fourth, PSG, GP Competition Clinic: 20 minutes per rider Competition Clinic: 30 minutes per rider Location: Osierlea, 334 Mission Vineyard Rd, San Juan Bautista, CA 95045 (www.osierlea.com) Agenda: Offered both Saturday and Sunday 8:00am – 12:00am: Classroom instruction reviewing judges expectations, applying critical mechanics for better continuity and overall tips on how to prepare your horse for specific movements. 1:00pm-5:00pm: Competition Clinic. 12 riders on Saturday, 8 riders on Sunday. Ride your test level in a show setting while the Judges provide a test score and recommendations.
