2007 Gavilan Chapter Show Series

The Gavilan Chapter High Point Series was won by Lynn Schugren and Katie Hoefs. They were the only competitors to ride at both shows in the highest level test with a winning score. They took home a Gavilan Chapter High Point show pad!
The Tri Chapter Challenge winners for this year were Katie Hoefs and Don Marco at Training Level. Katie Hoefs and Fugitivo XII at First Level. Katie Hoefs and Winston at Second Level. Katie also won Third and Fourth Level with her mare, Tasha. Congratulations Katie Hoefs and all of her fine horses!
Next year Gavilan Chapter will have 2 fun filled weekends of shows. Saturday June 28th will be our new CDS rated show at Osierlea and Sunday June 29th will be our USEF/USDF/CDS show. Judge Elizabeth Searle will be the judge. August 30th and 31st will be the second Chapter Show weekend with Judge Natalie Lamping. We look forward to seeing all of you compete next year at the 2008 Gavilan Chapter Shows!

2008 Adult Amateur Clinic Drawing
The drawing for the 2008 3-day Adult Amateur Clinic will be held during the Holiday party December 8th at 1:00 PM at Jan Carrasco’s home. This 3-day clinic is hosted by the SLO CDS Chapter in Paso Robles scheduled for March 2008. The clinician for the clinic will be Rachael Satory-Saavedra. The Gavilan Chapter sponsors the cost of the clinic for one member. You must be a current Gavilan member to enter.
