Muriel Hastings is a Seattle based photographer whose work has been published internationally. Her fine art photography is a part of private and corporate collections, with regional gallery representation. Her work has been described as emotional and evocative. “I enter into each photo shoot as a mystery,” she says. “I search for images that make me feel completely alive. Whether I am looking into the face of a rose or framing a sweeping landscape, I see things with my heart as much as with my eyes.” Muriel says her images are reflections of her inner self and range from soulful, sensual and whimsical, to edgy and sparse. Muriel Hastings finds beauty everywhere and captures those moments that make her heart leap: the reflection of a flower in a puddle, a lush country road, or a sailboat heading home in a sunset.
