This is a general sort of overview of what I’m going to be doing and how I’m going to do it.
Using my Macintosh Classic II (16MHz 68030 CPU,10 megs RAM, 40 meg internal HDD for Macintosh System Software 7.0.1, 800 meg external HDD for Linux root and swap) and my Power Macintosh 6500/225 (225MHz PPC 603ev CPU, 96 megs RAM, 3 gig internal HDD for Mac OS 9.1), I will be installing Debian Linux onto my Macintosh Classic II. The 6500 will be used for internet access and transferring large files to the Classic II over LocalTalk.
