Anniversary
November 3rd was our anniversary! Dana, our wonderful babysitter, watched our kids while we went to a place called Cafe Calma, where you can get a bite to eat, and then walked the evening streets of Dejvice, the part of Prague where we live. Funny, when I became aware of my surroundings as a kid - I was maybe four or five, it was Dejvice that we used to call our ‘downtown.’ Now decades later I walk these same streets with my wife of 17 years!
On the way home we walked down to the Dejvicka metro stop, sat in one of those photo booths and had our anniversary picture taken. It is the one above and there are more here.
Life is so strange and so hard and yet so beautiful. I keep wondering whether God is like that too.
