Steve Cone

This morning I went to the Prague airport - again.  I must have made that trip two hundred times over the past five years.  There is a whole range of emotions connected with these trips.  Sometimes it is exciting to make that 15 minute drive.  Other times it is sad.  This morning was one of the sad occasions: our friend and colleague Steve has completed his three year ministry here in Prague and returned to the US this morning.  Steve accepted a teaching position at our alma mater - Lincoln Christian College.
God has done a lot of good in and through Steve over the past three years.  Lot of good.  We didn’t talk much on the way to the airport, but this interchange captures it well:
“Three years of my life.  Three years of change.”
   “Good change?”
   “Yes, very good.”
As it is written, “There is a time for everything” a time to come and a time to leave.  Blessings on the next leg of the journey, Steve.  And we’ll see you on the other side (of the Atlantic ;-).  Peace!
