This past Sunday, January 6, we did something new.  We rented a club/pub/art gallery and called together people from several of the simple church communities that have been meeting in people’s homes.  This event was long in coming and the preparations were forged during many meetings and much prayer and discussion.  As our friend Sasa Flek said, we know where we have been, but don’t know for certain where we are going.  It is like seeing in a mirror dimly.  The only thing we are quite certain of is that God is leading us and that just as He exists in community of love and unity, He wants us to reflect his image here on earth.

Our aim is not to gain large following of people or to conduct good looking church meetings. We are after helping people grow in faith - in community with one another.  We want to facilitate growth and provide support for the small home-based church fellowships here in Prague and around the Czech Republic.  While traditional denominations may experience decrease in memberships we see God draw people to himself left and right!  Our task is in helping these people grow in faith and together with a few others around them to become the church that has moved into their neighborhood and workplace.
