The Mountain Team
So far this year we hosted several teams here in Prague but the hardest working one is the team from Mountain Christian Church in Joppa, MD. After finishing our English camp for elementary school kids last week they are now in their last day of a family camp in Janske Lazne in the Krkonose (try to pronounce that:-) mountains of Bohemia.
This second camp is larger with 110 “campers” of all ages and 25 leaders from various churches from the US. Every morning there are two English lessons for each of the several age groups and English proficiency levels, then free time (time to build relationships) and an evangelistic program every evening. Lots of people time during these camps - these are not cut out for the shy introvert (but there are none of these on this Mountain team. Except maybe Nancy:-)
John and Lyn even set up a team blog to record their mission trip experiences and you can see it here. Tomorrow evening is the final debriefing, then one more day in Prague and then the group heads home on Monday morning. We will miss them.
