Emilia Turned Eight
Oopsies! Emilia turned eight on June 19 and we forgot to even mention it here. Dog gone it! Time to get a new senior editor! This one is getting old and misses a lot of important details.
I remember Emilia had her best friend from school over and we (yes, Emilia, Stella, Annemarie, Jan and I) went to see Shrek the 3rd and had dinner at McDonald’s! Yipee! And then Stella spent the night at our house and it was great fun for them all. No big cakes this time - just cupcakes, but were they yummy!
This actually took place from Friday to Saturday a few days after the actual day since week nights are not as good as weekends for movies and sleepovers. But on June 19 Emilia honored the Czech tradition and brought a big bag of candy to pass out to all the kids in her class.
So, hear, hear: Emilia is now eight!!!
