A Bit About Us
We live in Prague, Czech Republic and besides trying to survive and thrive as a family of 7 we are involved in the following projects:
An English language educational project
called UpWord which seeks to impact the Czech educational system by developing an English teaching program that produces competent learners and assists in professional development of English language teachers. The largest program under the UpWord umbrella is called English Across the Subjects. It was established in 2004 and it operates at Czech public schools in Prague. The program employs Czech and native English-speaking teachers and administrators and it keeps growing and gaining popularity every year. Our team is working towards creating a ‘package’ program that can be offered to additional schools.
One of the things we have been dreaming about for a while is to establish a special place of retreat, rest and healing. We purchased an old farm in Prague and are beginning to see first signs of the dream coming to life. For more information click here.
