Congratulations to Michaela Johnson for being named Tournament MVP. Monica Albano, Janelle Cannon, Whitney Holloway, Courtney Thomas and Katie Yohn were named to the U16 All-Tournament Team. The Full Package Lady Lightning Platinum team won their bracket before losing in the Final 4 of the tournament between brackets. The team beat some of the best teams in the country in their strong showing. The Full Package Black and Silver Teams lost in the finals of their brackets. Both teams had a strong showing. The Full Package 16U Black and 16U Silver Teams played great games and showcased themselves well. 7/17/08 Full Package makes headlines in the Pioneer Press. Click to read more... 7/16/08 Full Package and Full Package Lady Lightning have BIG showings at the Nike Chicago Summer Showcase. The showcase included 256 teams and around 400 college coaches. The Full Package Lady Lightning Platinum Team won the 14-16U Division by going 7-0. The Full Package Lady Lightning Black team won their bracket and lost in the semi-finals of the 16/17U division. The team finished 5-1 and finished in 3rd place in the whole tournament. The Full Package 15U team came in 12th out of 32 teams in their bracket. The Full Package Lady Lightning Silver team went 3-2 and made it to the championship game of the consolation bracket. The Full Package 16U Black and Silver had strong games throughout the tournament. The Platinum and Silver Teams finished in 2nd and the Black team finished in 5th. 7/8/08 Five Full Package Teams compete at Adidas USA Tip Off Classic Showcase in Indianapolis. The Full Package 15U Black team finished 3rd in the 16U Select Division by going 4-1 in the tournament. Their only loss was by 2 points. The Full Package 14U Silver team finished 5th in the open division and the Full Package 13U team finished 6th in the open division. The Full Package 16U Black and Silver teams competed hard against teams from across the midwest and Canada. 5/26/2008 Full Package captures 3 State AAU Championships at the 14U, 15U, and the Open Division while finishing strong at other age groups. The 14U Full Package girls finished a great weekend beating Hoops Express twice on Monday to win the state championship. The 15U Full Package Lady Lightning Platinum and Silver teams were co-champions at the 15U level as both teams advanced to the championship game where they did not play the game and both were awarded the championship. The Open division was dominated by the Full Package seniors as they cruised to the championship. The Full Package Lady Lightning Black finished in third place at the Jr. Division. The Full Package 13U and 11U teams finished 4th in the state. Congratulations to all the Full Package teams. 5/25/2008 Full Package 7th grade captures For the Game’s Curtis Hawkins Memorial Tournament by going 4-0. In the Judson Regional, the Full Package 13U Black, 14U Black and 18U, and FPLL Platinum 15U won their respected regions. The Full Package 11U Black and FPLL 16U Black came in 2nd place in their region and qualified for State. The FPLL 15U Silver Team won the Trinity Regional and qualified for State.
