Psalmos

Crichton College is proud to be moving into its second full year for the Depart-ment of Performing Arts. Psalmos is the first choral ensemble established within the department and currently houses thirty singers. It functions as a concert choir performing a wide variety of music ranging from Medieval and classical to 20th Century, modern, and tribal choral music. Students of Psalmos have a variety of majors from education and business to biology and English. There currently is not a minor or major in music at Crichton College. This provides a very unique opportunity, in that the Department of Performing Arts offers vocal scholarships to students of all majors to help them finance their individual educational and career goals. It is exciting beyond words to see what is happening in the area of Choral Activities within the Department of Performing Arts. We would love to see you become a part of our arts family.
