Welcome to World History

10th grade World History is a reflective, survey class, which we look back at the developments and processes in world events which lead us to the modern day. We will emphasize “Western Civilization” yet will also study and appreciate other cultures and civilizations. The period that we will focus on are the last four centuries, including enlightenment, revolutions, two world wars and various other military conflicts, economic instability and stability, various movements, which have lead to the changes of different segments of the world. 

You should constantly be asking yourself – Where is the power at this time? Who has that power? What is the change? And, most importantly, how does this relate to the world today?
