Urban Plunge Retreats
Urban Plunge retreats are held during the winter to coincide with the Room in the Inn program at the Campus for Human Development. The objective of the weekend is to immerse young Catholic, Christians into the realities that face 30,000 people in the state of Tennessee, homelessness.
The Urban Plunge retreat is hosted by the Catholic Youth Organization with sponsorship from the Diocese of Nashville. Highlights of the trip include guided tours of the downtown Nashville area, visiting Loaves and Fishes soup kitchen on Saturday morning, volunteering with Room in the Inn at the Campus for Human Development and also traveling to work with the Farmer’s Market.

Urban Plunge is an overnight retreat experience where youth are immersed into the realities of the homeless and marginalized in Nashville. The retreats are a great way to learn about service and the social teachings of our Catholic faith!
