I have definitely learned a lot in English this year. We have worked on many interesting projects. One of my favorite projects was the Crusades project.
For the Crusades project we had to choose a time period, and then choose a weapon from that time period. My partner and I chose flag on pole. We had to create a flash animation based on the weapon. I also had to write a research paper on William of Tyre, a religious figure in Jerusalem
The difficulties we encountered during this project included: Our Flash became corrupted on the last day. This caused us to make an entire Flash animation in one day. I also had many problems revising the journal. I made an excellent outline, and the layout was perfect. However, I had not entered enough text about the physics behind the weapon. This caused me to have to revise many times.
Overall, I am very happy with the project, and received a satisfactory grade. I also designed the cover, and the table of contents for our classes book.

I have read three books for our english book club. These Books are: 1984, Catch 22 and The Life Of Pi. I feel that these books really enriched me, by requiring me to think deeply about the underlying plots in the novel. I do not usually put so much critical thought into a book.

Writing has never been very much fun for me, but this year it became much more of an interesting and stimulating experience!
