I like to get out and take a step back and enjoy what places have to offer.  Too many times we tend to get caught up in our urban surroundings and forget that there is more to see than our hotel and the nearby Starbuck’s.  Whenever I travel for business I make it a habit to try to get out from the convention-hotel atmosphere and go see some of the local scenery.  Sometimes it involves me renting a car and getting away, other times it is just hopping onto local public transportation and seeing where I end up, and even other times it can be just a walk down the street.  Here is a collection of photos from various places I have ended up.  I am in no way a professional photographer, but I do enjoy taking photos and getting creative.
