Indigo Dance
meets for two hours each week on a Tuesday evening from 7pm - 9pm. Although sometimes times vary dependent on rehearsal requirements.
Participants aged from 12 years are encouraged to explore various styles of dance in an informal and friendly workshop which caters for all levels of experience and ability. This includes work as a whole group, as well as small group and independent work, where participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas to share & incorporate.
As with all indigo workshops, teamwork, confidence building and a sense of community are an essential ingredient, and participants are encouraged to share experience, and offer support to other members as well as working towards self-development.

performance
Performance is a fundamental part of the workshop process, and dancers will take part in the main indigo musicmaker shows at Kingsley & the Palace Theatres, twice yearly, as well as undertaking their own annual productions & contributing to community performance throughout the year. This is very demanding in terms of rehearsals, but guarantees loads of fun!

Workshops are open to all, there are no auditions, or previous experience necessary. It is important that you are aware that dance relies on teamwork - and so all we ask for in return is the energy, enthusiasm and commitment that comes naturally from all those who participate in our workshops!
