About the Artist

  1. •Mort Luby was born and raised in Chicago. He studied art at the Universities of Notre Dame and

  2. •Wisconsin.

  4. •He has taken instruction from  some of America’s greatest artists, including Romel de la Torre, Charles Movali, Clyde Aspevig, Julie Houck, Diane Johnson, Bridget Austen, John Howard Sanden, Dian Johnson, Matt Smith, Kim English, Connie Glowacki, Greg Kreutz, Scott Burdick,  Anita Hampton , Robert Hoffman, Margaret Kessler and many others.

  6. •He has won more than 40 awards in various local, regional and national competitions, including three best-of-show citations.
