The Chuck and Mo Spot
First off, I’d like to wish a Happy Birthday to my Mom in Phoenix. Happy Birthday Mom!!!
The happy birthday sign was supposed to be modeled by Bruce but you can see how co-operative he was.
School started back up for me a few weeks ago. Right now I am enrolled in Life Drawing so my books are full of nude models. Seriously. Chuck keeps flipping through the section with the nude female forms a little too often if you ask me.

We’ve been drawing the different skeletal and muscular parts of the body mostly. Here is my skull assignment from last week.

I’m kind of bored with this class so I tend to fart around with the photo booth on my Mac while I’m scanning and posting assignments.

I made this cool new avatar for my Ravelry page instead of doing schoolwork.
I’ve managed to get in a bit of knitting between work and school. These poor socks had been in my WIP bag for months. My goal for January was to finish all socks-in-progress.
I also found this hilarious pattern for beer sweaters/koozies and made two this past weekend.  My beers will forever more be toasty warm!!!!
Chuck and I did a bit o’ redecorating this past weekend. Our new living room rug finally arrived so this gave us the “rearrange all of the furniture/Spring Cleaning” bug.  The living room seems a lot bigger now and all we did was clean and move the chair and the ottoman.
The pets love the new squishy rug. This is much better than the scratchy sisal rug we had before.  Both cats and the dog have been sleeping on the rug instead of the couch. I love the new colors and hope they hide a few stains that are sure to come.
In fact, Bruce is working hard on testing out the stain hiding capability of the rug.
