Storm Trooper reinforcements have arrived
The Chuck and Mo Spot
On my knitting accessories bag, I keep a keychain that has a mini Bruce Lee and a mini Storm Trooper on it. Why? Duh, to represent good and evil.
Here are mini Bruce Lee and mini Storm Trooper standing guard over my  bag o’ knitting notions.  Does it look like Mr. Storm Trooper is missing something? Yes! Due to a certain puppy who shall remain nameless, mini Storm Trooper lost a hand and became a paraplegic. Luckily, Mr. Nameless Puppy knew to attack the evil one and not mess with mini Bruce Lee.
Here is Mr. Storm Trooper’s replacement who came all the way from Fairbanks, AK. eBay is a wonderful thing. You never know who is going to be selling mini Lego Storm Troopers.
Ahh...balance has been restored. The battle between good and evil resumes in my knitting bag.
In knitting news, I whipped up this scarf just in time for the weather to warm up. I used some Lion Brand Landscapes yarn with some Nashua Handknits bulky alpaca.  I like the fact that I combined cheap craft store yarn with fancy schmancy yarn.
I also made this baby blanket to add to the gift basket that we’re giving Betsy at work today. I used my standard baby gift yarn - Bernat Denim Style. The blanket was really hard to photograph. I did a log cabin pattern that you can barely see in person.
I also made some bibs from the “Mason-Dixon Knitting” book. I don’t know why the one on the right looks more yellow than the other. Both bibs are made out of the same ball of Peaches and Creme yarn. I took this photo before washing and blocking. Trust me, they look a lot better with a little ironing and the cute buttons sewn on.
Here’s the final basket product. I also made the card with some fancy metal letters that I nailed to the card with grommets.

Kitties do not care for baby bibs.
