Sprained Ankles and Clean Kitties
The Chuck and Mo Spot
Chuck had a bit of a “mishap” this month.  He came to my kickboxing class with me one day.  We were quite early so we had the room to ourselves. Chuck was trying out his new kickboxing gloves by punching everything in the room.  He did a few kicks. The first few were ok. I told him to be careful - you have to have your legs lined up just right so you don’t twist your knee or ankle. Anyway, Chuck did some sort of flying Bruce Lee/Chuck Norris move and landed awkwardly on his left foot. It was a good thing that the whole room was padded since he rolled around a bit. He thought he could walk off the pain but decided that we should go home when the throbbing started.  We left before the class started. Here’s Chuck about an hour after the “incident”. The giant goiter on his ankle is the bag of ice he strapped to himself.
Newman has been extra needy since Meemers passed away. He’s become my little shadow.  I spent a Sunday afternoon on the couch watching all the Shark Week programs I Tivo’d. Newman used me as a cushion the entire time. You can see below that he got closer and closer and closer..... He started off on my lap, then my stomach, then my chest, then my throat.
Kitties do not like baths. Period.  It was time for Newman and Pepper to get clean and an Advantage dose (flea stuff). Let’s just say they did not care for the shower we gave them.
