More wine???
The Chuck and Mo Spot
We headed out for another weekend of Texas wine tasting. This time, Chad and Corrie came along. Well, technically Corrie drove the entire time so Chuck and I were the ones that tagged along.

The trip started with happy hour at C & C’s with some of Corrie’s co-workers.  Corrie can make a mean margarita!
We went back to Driftwood Vineyards because they have some great wine and a heck of a view. Don’t worry Amy, I didn’t forget to pick up your wine.
We also made a return visit to the Mandola  Estate Winery. The Mandolas are building a restaurant next to the winery that is supposed to open at the end of the summer.
Chuck got to enjoy many a cigar on Saturday. Here he is on the back porch at  Flatcreek Estate Winery.

We also visited Texas Hills Vineyards. Info for all of these wineries plus others can be found at www.TexasWineTrail.com.

I finished this funky feather-and-fan patterned sock during the trip. The mate to this sock has already been started and I should have it finished by the end of the week.
I also finished these ankle socks. I used the “Monkey” pattern from Knitty.com but chose to do the pattern as a toe-up sock.
Yea! My April sock club kit arrived this week. The pattern that came along with this sock is a  very lacy pattern. The yarn seems too pretty to be turned into a pair of socks. I may or may not use this for a scarf.
Life is good for puppies.
