FILMMAKERS: SUBMIT YOUR FILMS TO MOONCUSSER FOR DISTRIBUTION
General distribution submission guidelines:
Films must be in English or subtitled in English unless distribution is not intended for North American audience.
Running Time. We have no limits on length. The popularity of internet downloads have made even the five minute short marketable. With that said, the best selling films for the traditional market are either 26 to 28 min, 52 to 58 min, or 82 to 88 min. Previous Screenings .. Please include a list of prior screenings of film, if applicable. Works in Progress- We will consider works in progress. If submitting a work in progress please provide a description of your finished film and the changes you intend to make.
Submission Materials- Please send your screeners on DVD. Please note, we cannot return your materials once submitted.
Master Materials- Your film may have been shot in any format. We'll consider them all if your content is good enough. However we do a require Mini-DV or DVCam master for dubbing purposes.
Please send a packet with your name, address, telephone, and email along with the following: We will accept hard copies of these or a cd/dvd with computer files.
1. Synopsis .. A short description of the film's storyline.
2. Credits .. A complete principal cast and production credits list.
3. List of all prior screenings, awards, reviews etc.

If your film is selected for distribution, you will be offered a contract. Terms of contract offers may vary. We will further ask that you submit
1. A black and white or color photo of director, preferably a headshot, and 75-400 word director's bio
2. As many additional black & white and/or color images from film as possible.
3. A one to two-minute edited trailer for the film (not just the first one or two minutes).
