Power Plants
Food for the unprepared
Health Care Workers
Security (Police, Sheriffs, National Guard)
Fire Departments
 
All of these vital services will be impacted in the event of a severe pandemic.  It is expected that 40% of all workers will be absent from work during local outbreaks which are expected to last from 6-8 weeks, and possibly longer.
