Some of the information collected here was developed at the Flu Wiki.  I continue to find Flu Wiki one of the richest sources of influenza and pandemic planning information on the Web.  I also read with great interest Revere's posts at Effect Measure.  I also participate at the Flu Clinic and have obtained much useful information there.  The Disease Outbreak board, now dormant, was my introduction to the online bird flu community.   Finally, I first became interested in bird flu after reading some posts at Henry Niman's Recombinomics site.
