The 2009 Summer Youth Camp Series promises to be full of exciting adventure for youth ages 6-17 years of age. Due to the overwhelmingly positive response to last years camp additions, we are keeping our camp structure and options similar for 2009. The 2009 Ultimate Outdoor Adventure Series will be better than ever with multiple session dates. Outer Edge Performance camps are designed with one thing in mind: Realizing Potential! Our camps go far beyond the traditional camp experience, we are an all outdoor wilderness and adventure camp serving youth and teens ages 6-17. We are dedicated to creating camp experiences that last a lifetime.

Outer Edge Performance is an organization that takes great pride in providing outdoor adventure and experiential opportunities to a variety of populations. Over the years we have worked safely and successfully with thousands of youth to produce remarkable results. We are known for our innovative approach to working with youth and have raised the bar where youth camps are concerned. We are a national leader in the outdoor adventure and experiential industry and look forward to serving youth and teen campers throughout the 2008 season.

Our MISSION is simple yet powerful: To facilitate the process of realizing human potential. We believe in the importance of choice. All of our programs are designed to give our participants genuine choice in participation. We believe that by having this our participants will ultimately harness the power from within to create and learn more. By establishing an inclusive, supportive environment, the realization of human potential is profound.

OEP Adventure Series camps are not necessary unusual in terms of the activities we provide. The approach and care we take in working with each camper is what sets up apart and has given us national recognition for the work we do. OEP and our leadership staff have devoted their lives to working with youth. We are a group of people who are inspired by young people, their energy, motivation and genuine creativity. We have spent countless hours in the wilderness with youth from all over the country. Our interest lies with providing the youth we work with the opportunity to experience the natural outdoors and to expose them to a variety of adventure activities. Both our leadership team and staff have worked with youth in a variety of settings. We believe the youth and teens participating in our camp series deserve the most outstanding camp experience possible. We are passionate about the work we do and take great pride in helping youth discover their outer limits. We carefully design each camp to help campers to move fluidly between their comfort zone and their zone of learning and self-discovery. Participants can learn at their own pace, in a supportive environment that celebrates each individual for who they are. Participants involved in our camp series explore and learn about them selves, develop leadership skills, become more confident, make new friends and REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL.

Whether you are new to adventure camps or have lots of experience you are sure to find the camp that is right for you. Our camp activities include: high and low ropes course, rock climbing, mountain biking, rappelling, 14,000 ft. peak ascents, outdoor climbing wall, a tandem 1000 ft. zip line, whitewater rafting, archery, leave no trace environmental education, and many more outdoor adventure activities.
