I started flying in 1980. Since then, I have owned and operated more than 80 aircraft, ranging from a Piper J-3 Cub to a Citation business jet.
At first, I used my aircraft for personal transportation, and to support my advertising and marketing business.
Twenty years after I started flying, I made flying my full time business. I owned and operated a part 135 aircraft charter company for six years. I sold fractional ownership programs in turboprop and turbojet aircraft. All the while I remained a current flight instructor, aircraft mechanic and aviation writer. My articles are published monthly in several aviation publications and I have written a book called Things My Flight Instructor Never Told Me and Other Lessons Learned in 25 years of Aviation.
I am now managing aircraft for private and commercial use. I currently manage aircraft that range in size from a single engine piston four seater to a 4 engine turbojet.
I am still putting fractional ownership aircraft programs together. Most recently, I put together a four owner deal on a Cessna 414, which I manage and operate for the owners. These aircraft are a great value for the dollar.
I am continuing to work to make aircraft ownership
as practical and affordable as possible for both owner pilots and owner passengers.
