Mornings in Santa Cruz are mostly sunny, even in winter. It is summer morning that sometimes have fog. First thing is the coffee..it’s gotta be strong, and I like a large cup to savor. I pad down the driveway to get the local paper and read it with the coffee, if it’s an especially grand morning my sweetheart/ husband, Marty, brings the paper and coffee to me and wakes me with both. Weekdays Marty heads to the Digital Media Factory first and I have some quiet time to clean up the house, shower and listen to music. Then usually I head down after him. Current projects are music videos and my pet project, a virtual ride on a Gondola in Venice, Italy. I am editing it for DVD. Hoping for December release.
We do get out as often as we can to support the live music scene, which is VIBRANT here in Santa Cruz. On those nights we stay home, you’ll find us curled up on the couch in front of the fire in winter the backyard in summer and talking about the projects of the day and our big overall project...the Digital Media Factory. Our baby..aside from our two dogs and one very black cat. More on them later!
We go to Strawberry Music Festival and the Kate Wolf festival, and are part of the radio crews on both. My passions are the human voice, my musical community and keeping a loving full life for my husband and myself. Music seeps in everywhere and I am lucky enough to have carved out a niche where music sustains us.
