You need me.
Life's been getting to you and
you can't quite handle it anymore
all on your own.
That's understandable.
You need me.
Keep focused on what matters the most.
Remember,
you're a god in your niche.
Everyone's got a place to be, and
yours is right here with me.
You need me
to fill you up and to make you whole.
Now how could you possibly part with me?
You need me
to interrupt your games and make you see.
So how will you keep me?
How will you hold on to me and
ensure that I'm yours?
Go ahead and break off
a little bit of your integrity.
You need me.
Listen, as we grow, we grow
increasingly subdued.
You're limited by your very nature,
my friend.
You've been becoming you.
You need me
to tell you why
the events of your life unfold as they do.
You need me
to give you purpose and a drive.
So how could you possibly part with me?
You need me.

By sky and branches in full leaf,
grey stone buttresses in waning light
are framed in stark relief. With architectural
ascension, those who dare to grab
fate’s scruff fund edgy spires,
blood offerings or more ethereal stuff.
But who invented who, who built whose house,
who mounts whose wars to spread the various creeds,
never asking who carries out, writes up or canonizes
hear-say ‘s deeds. Humans die by human’s hands
over schism’s verse and heresy’s chapter.
Differing theologies, conclaves, councils in their robes
and hats - which holds sway in the alleged here-after?
