There are some important dates to remember this month. October 21st is an early release date. Also, October 29th is the last day of the first nine weeks. Also that day the 5th grade will be having their field day. Report cards will be coming out on November 5th.
We have been finishing up our SRI reading testing this month that monitors the reading growth of students November will begin Think Link testing in Math and 5th grade science. Teachers are continuing to use the Success For All reading program that Putnam county adopted this year. This program teaches students cooperatively at their individual reading level.
Our PTO will be hosting a booth at the “Everyone’s Having a Yard Sale” in Pomona Park the first Saturday in November. Come out and support our school and purchase something from the booth, or make a donation prior to that week.
