> Why?
Several reasons.
First, I live in a small apartment, and I’m almost outta space in my closet and don’t really have anywhere else to put them. I just don’t have to room to keep all of them. I need to free up room for new stuff. Second, sometimes I get duplicate copies which I don’t need. And third, I need the money, $$$. Doujinshi collecting is a very expensive hobby...
> Condition?
Nearly all of the doujinshi is used. Because I scan just about all of them, most of the noticeable wear will be around the spine. That’s especially true for the ones bound with glue. The ones bound with staples are in better condition because not much bending is required to get good scans. There may also be some wear on the corners and edges and maybe some scuffing on the covers. The interior is clean and in great condition though. No dirt, rips, missing pages, etc. If there is, I’ll make note of it. You can ask for more details on the condition of something you’re interested in and I’ll check for you.
Some of the duplicate copies (which I have not scanned) might be new... I’m not sure if brand new doujinshi are packaged specially or not so I just labeled them as “like new.”
> Excellent - Could be mistaken for new.
> Very Good - Spine very slightly warped or other very slight problem, otherwise would be excellent.
> Good - Binding glue may have split but pages are still intact. Warped spine, slight corner damage, ink flaking, etc.
> OK - Problems such as: split binding, pages about to fall out, one or two pages which did fall out, big crease, etc.
> Bad - Pages fell out, one or two folds and creases, a little dirty, ink flaking off cover, etc.
> Very Bad - Pages have fallen out, folds and creases, tears, written on, dirty, ink flaking, just crappy overall.
All the stationery is unused and in great condition. (They are not for sale! Only available as a small gift. Go to the bottom of this page for more details.)
