Prayer Requests
Lebanese Elections: Join us in thanksgiving for the peaceful Parliamentary elections held on June 7. Lebanon has enjoyed more than a year without internal fighting.
Thanksgiving!! Deanna has begun her sixth month of pregnancy with healthy reports from the doctor so far. We look forward to introducing a new little Womack to you in October.
The Near East School of Theology: Seminarians at the NEST, where Deanna taught Intro to Preaching, have completed another semester. Please pray for the seminary graduates who will go on to serve this region in ministry.
The Synod and the Church: Christians are the minority in Lebanon and throughout the Middle East. Remember the Synod here in Lebanon as they reach out the community, both Christian and Muslim. Pray for the Church as it continues to remain a place of Holy worship in shrinking Christian population.
Security and safety:
We have encountered no problems concerning safety and security, but we ask that you continue to pray for God’s protection as we complete our year in Zahle and return to the US for the summer.
Spiritual growth and development: We desire God’s continued presence in our growth as Christians. Specifically, pray that we might be shinning examples of Christ’s light to our students, co-workers, and community. In a land that is skeptical of Christ’s redeeming grace, pray for our opportunities to share God’s forgiveness.

Our first year in Lebanon will come to a close as we travel back to the United States on June 19. We will spend a week in New Jersey before returning to Missouri. If you’re in the area, we invite you to join us as we speak and preach at the following churches:
