I love to see a life changed when Jesus gets a hold of someone — I mean really gets a hold of someone. They develop new priorities and new dreams and new hopes for the future. It’s so cool.

 

I have seen God get a hold of some people lately. One friend was telling me of a lady that she invited to church last week. She’s not a Christian and is married to a Buddhist. After service, she said that she’d be bringing her husband next week. Why? Why would someone who isn’t a Christian bring her un-churched husband to church?

 

The reason is because God is at work. He is constantly shaping and molding our lives and experiences so that we have opportunities to come close to him. He desires intimacy with us. He wants to be closer to us. OUR GOD WHO MADE THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WANTS TO BE OUR FRIEND! So when you see someone respond to your invitation to come to church or take another step toward God—don’t be surprised—God is at work!
