On the verge of a new beginning, I find that I’ve left the old site and blog behind.  The new beginning is marriage.  The start of two lives lived side-by-side.  So to coincide with that beginning, I’m beginning a new site and a new blog.

It’s time to start fresh, with a new motto: “This is not a trial run”.  It’s a lyric from Seth Horan’s Trial Run.  In the song, Seth is talking about his marriage and how he doesn’t plan to enter it lightly, that it isn’t practice for something, but that this is it.  Amy and I have chosen that for our first dance at the wedding, and it has become a sort of sub-theme for our wedding, our future marriage and my lifestyle.

We’ve also decided to start hiking.  Trails, mountains, water falls, we want to see and climb it all.  We’ve only just begun, so this site will accompany that new beginning also.

So if nothing else, there should be some fantastic pictures of nature and the beauty of Central New York and the Adirondack Mountains as we progress in our new hobby.
