Hidden Faces
In the late 1960’s, Dutch-Born American Peter Teekamp began his artistic career with a theme that included hiding faces in his work. “Pass It On” Teekamp painting from 1974, (left)

In 1978, Teekamp recognized hidden faces in the artwork of 
artist Paul Gauguin and found that 
no one in 100 years had ever studied Gauguin's theme of hiding faces.
