Yes Hooping!  It is my newest and craziest workout!  I absolutely love it.  Remember Hula Hoops as a kid?  Well it is the latest and greatest way to get in shape.  Girls, it will get your legs, tummy, butt and the rest of your fab body in shape AND make you move like the sexy goddess that you are.   My favorite instructor is Ms. Cristabel Zamor - the ultimate Hoopgirl!  She even has two amazing DVD’s that will teach you all of the cool moves that you can do at home with your own professional hoop.  And, if you really want to perform, join the circle at Burning Man!

Are you a Foodie? 
Ok who isn’t these days! But are you a Raw Foodie?  I am. Not all of the time of course....I mean life is all about enjoying EVERYTHING! However, It is a wonderful way to eat and so good for your body, mind and soul.  One of my favorite places is “Cafe Gratitude”. It is my most favorite places for raw food and I am especially fond of breakfast....try the “I am Marvelous” (cafe mocha with raw chocolate), and the “I am thrilled” (live cinnamon bun) or “I am vigorous” (Macadamia nut porridge). Hmm...My mouth is watering!

Okay...want something so “not raw”?  My other addiction:  French toast from Il Fornaio.  TOSTO FRANCESE is what they call it and it is simply divine! Doug and I just went there the other day and it was amazing as usual.  Imagine this: Three HUGE pieces of the best Filone bread smothered in mascarpone cheese, fresh strawberries and pure New England maple syrup. Ya gotta try it.    

Hmmm what else....Oh yes....Our dear friend Tanya is opening up her very first new soul food restaurant - “Brown Sugar Kitchen” in January 2008. We were able to sample some of the pre-opening delights. Want to read more and see her wonderful new space in West Oakland?...go to my blog and check it out.

Taking care of our Temple
I just had to make this section a permanent part of my website; I felt that it was so important.  We are constantly working on keeping ourselves healthy...trying to keep a balance in life in terms of exercise and what we put into our bodies.  But sometime we forget that what we put on our bodies actually seeps into the pours of our skin and can have an affect on our health and well-being. of...

I am a dancer...well not really but I do love to dance and more than ever I am getting into exploring all sorts of ways to express myself creatively and one way of doing this is through dance.  S Factor was an interest in mine...it isn’t really dance but the body is moved in a very sensual and sexy way and Pole Dancing is part of it...yes you read me right, Pole Dancing.  I took an intro class with S Factor.  However , I was not that impressed and decided to research it a little bit more; you know...,maybe hire a professional stripper to teach me the ways of her world!
