The blog is moving

Hello all of my dedicated readers! I just wanted to inform you that I have ben researching other hosts for my blog; ones that I can advertise on. Since I have heard from several of you and no one has requested that I not take on advertisers, I have decided to move my blog so that I can add ads.

I have loved the user friendly iweb which I have been using since day one but I am limited here and there have been a few glitches in the program that have been difficult and disappointing. One being that I can not download and place ads and another one being that the more I blog the longer it takes for me to publish everyday. For some reason iweb is programmed to scan through every past blog that has been published while publishing the new day’s blog. It is taking me anywhere from 5-7 minutes per day to publish my blog! - who designed it this way? And since I write everyday this is starting to be a problem that will only get worse. I have spoken to Mac about this and other’s have had the same experience - they will either eventually fix this in their updated versions or they will loose a large part of their clientele that uses iweb and blogs seriously like I do.

So that being said, I have chosen to move my blog. I have been working on my new blog site and my blog will be moved completely as of two weeks from today: Sunday, February 3rd. I have already starting posting the blogs from the past few days onto my new site and I will continue doing this daily up until February 3rd. Note: Only the blogs from January 17th through February 3rd will be archived on the new blog. Any blogs before January 17th, will still be hosted on this site.

Please feel free to visit my new blog site. However, the blog posts will not be published contemporaneously as they are here as I am still learning the new site. Therefore I am requesting that you continue reading my blog on this site and only comment on this site, my iweb site until February 3rd and resume your reading and commenting on the new site beginning Monday, February 4th . I am requesting this so that we all stay on the same page. I will be forwarding the next two weeks blogs to my new site, as I mentioned above, as well as any comments that you make for the next two weeks on this site so that the transition will be seamless. Note on the forwarded comments: I am copying and pasting them as one comment even though there are always many more; they will be listed as one comment at the end of each blog article that the comments pertain to. This will only apply to the comments that I am forwarding until February 3rd.

On Monday, February 4th I will not longer be blogging at this site, nor you will not be able to leave any more comments after February 3rd’s blog at this site, my iweb site. I hope that this is clear. Blog me if you have any questions.

I will be blogging only at my new site beginning on Monday, February 4th, My new blog site is:
http://michellemoquin.wordpress.com Start reading my blog and commenting on this new site starting Monday, February 4th. If you are an RSS subscriber you will need to re-subscribe on the new site.

However, there will be links from my new site at Wordpress leading you back to my iweb site should any of you readers want to read any of the archives dated before January 17th. And of course I will have a link to my new Wordpress blog site on the main page of my iweb blog ” A day in the life of...”

Thanks for your patience in this and do not worry I will be reminding you on a daily basis that the blog is moving. I look forward to sharing my new blog site with you!
-Michelle

Tal: Thanks for your comments and explanations. I understand completely what you are saying.

Debra, Suzy, & Jilli: I don’t even know if you are going to get this message or even understand, considering Tal’s comments yesterday, but I will say what I want to express anyways...“It is too bad that we never got the chance to meet outside of the Climax. My best to all of you! Suzy, I hope that you enjoy your new life and it is everything that you have dreamed it to be. Maybe someday we’ll meet again and both recall the time. Until then...”

HOWIE: My pleasure - Thank you for commenting and sharing. I enjoyed reading what you had to say and I am anxious to hear more about your relationship with CARR. It seems that although you are in Florida, CARR is still here in San Francisco, yes? Have you shared your knowledge of this blog with you friend? If you’re caught up in the reading, I’d like to hear your thoughts about the last few days. I look forward to conversing with you on my blog.
