Believers or not?

First of all, in answer to your question Howie about advertisers... My feeling is companies dont care about what I am blogging about; all they care about is numbers. The more people reading my blog, the more their ads will be seen and hopefully clicked. So what if we are conversing about aliens. I believe that there are some readers out there who just don't want to converse but do believe. I wish we could hear more from you readers, even if anonymously! Come on...join in!

But Llike you stated Howie, I too have a feeling that many reading my blog are not really believers but read daily as pure entertainment. Take for instance, the office people that are making my blog into a game; an office pool - who are the aliens and who are the players pretending to be the aliens? It is all very amusing to me. Speaking of...Suzi, Debra, Jilli - how is that pool going? Any updates to report?

I think the advertisers see this blog as more general, a wider audience...by this I mean that we are just regular people who happen to be conversing with aliens; learning and teaching through conversation, or readers just wanting to be entertained - that could include everyone! - Look at the reach that Star Wars had - were all those movie lovers believers? Like I said, I think my blog has a more general audience as opposed to some alien UFO site/blog that is very specific in it's audience demographics. Do you know what I mean? Anyways, the blog move will be no big deal. Have you visited the new site yet? It is up and running although I am a bit behind...I thought it was best to kick out the big move and give everyone two weeks notice. Although, I have a feeling that most read my blog everyday, people do get busy with work, travel etc. I wanted to give fair warning of the move so that no one would be left behind.

So...dear readers...I am excited about the move this Monday. Although I have been checking out advertisers and their offers, I have not decided whom I will go with yet so you most likely will not see ads immediately However, I have been adding streaming video to the articles and that I love. So cool to have music reflect what I am writing about. I am a detail lover and expressing my creativity is important to me as you may have noticed from how I design my blog/website. It may not excite anyone but me, and I am cool with that. I am a designer at heart and to me visual beauty is important. Therefore, I choose to paint my blog to reflect how I feel and what I am writing about. Although the new site does not allow me as much creative freedom in the designing of my blog as iweb does, I can add players to the blog that lets me seamlessly mix video, music, photos, narration, text, etc. To me, this switch is well worth giving up some of the creative tools that iweb offers. And of course the advertising opportunities are there too, not to mention that it is very user friendly, and I can post a blog in seconds as well.

Tal: How cool that you just get to go back in time and converse, and hang out with whoever you please. Talk aboout a true histroy lesson! If you do decide to change history how will that affect everything such as lives of those related, history books etc? If you make the change and Burr dies in the duel instead of Hamilton, will we always think this originally happened? I am curious about Hamilton's wife, Elizabeth Schuyler....was she a strong influence in his life? As usual there was not much written about her that I could find. Thanks - I hope that you will be able to tell more while you are there.
