Program Description:
This didactic & experiential workshop explores participants’ strengths as individuals and as professional mental health clinicians.  Discussion will reveal how to make your skills shine as you present yourself to potential employers &/or clients.  Explore under serviced niche and specialty markets.  Understand the potential gains and obstacles of self-employment, through a private practice, or as an independent contractor. Identify the balance between a satisfying personal and career life and common barriers and stereotypes that prevent fulfilling careers thus creating “burn out”.  This workshop is geared for both novice as well as seasoned clinicians. It is an excellent resource for new graduates, as well as veteran clinicians wanting to make a career transition.
Program & Participant Learning Objectives:
•	Identifying at least 5 of your strengths and putting them to work in your career picture.
•	Learn at least 3 skills to present yourself (and your skills) as a professional to a potential employer.
•	Recognize at least 5 strategies for navigating career goals, while preventing “burn out”.
* One hour of individual coaching to be scheduled after workshop & at a mutually convenient time in person or via telephone.

Distance-Learning Course $250 Available approximately 6 - 8 weeks after workshop.
