A half to full day course that will get you moving on the water!  Do you need an  escape?  The Diva Retreat is the class for you! Challenge and Refresh yourself by playing in the river! We can work with you or your group with whitewater, flatwater or recreational kayaks.

This course is a wonderful introduction for the beginner and novice paddlers, and our experienced instructors will help you paddle safely and efficiently.

You will gain the skills to: enter and exit your kayak safely, use correct paddle strokes, surf, understand paddling terminology, and the ability to negotiate basic river features. You will learn to "read" the river, and be exposed to basic water safety.

The full day course will give you more time to practice these important skills, and allow you to play on more of the San Marcos River’s beautiful drops! This course also includes lunch!
