Step step steppin’
Life has become a tad more interesting. This week, I joined the full-time employed at NetIQ. Hoorah! But the celebration has been muted: The night before I started work, I was asked when I would be moving out. With the suggestion that October might be nice. So…a couple of steps forward, then a step back.
And just when Angel had begun to tolerate two of her four furry companions. The kitten and puppy, of course, have always been and forever will be persona non grata in her room. But Sandy –

Goooooaaaaaallllllll!!!!
Despite the opinion of some who know me, I am not an over-achiever. Moreover, I’ve never been one to set personal goals, then go all-out to accomplish them. Rather, I’ve had vague ideas about what I’d like to achieve in life. And been mildly disappointed when I didn’t make those achievements. I’ve been equally surprised whenever something managed to come to pass.

Still Not Normal
I promised myself that I would write 2-3 pages of actual text or 4 pages of brainstorming every day. But I still haven’t started on that. I suppose that I’m waiting for my conscience to kick in. Or a sense of normal life. It would be nice to have a normal life again.
Then again...write what you know about, yes? So here’s what I know:
It’s better to wake up each morning and have something to do that day than to lie about wondering if it’s worth getting up. Even if you have to create

Step Three Begins
Step Three of Moving starts today!
The movers arrive this morning. Last night, I wrapped up (quite creatively) most of my artwork. I say most because, as I passed through the living room this morning, I noticed that I’d forgotten two rather large pieces. Luckily, these don’t include a glass cover. So, I’ll just whip some paper and bubblewrap around ‘em and toss some a blessing in their general direction.

Step Two Underway
I hereby declare that Step Two of the Moving Process is underway!
The movers arrive tomorrow at 8 am to begin loading my stuff into the POD. I just finished washing everything except the clothes on my back. For the rest of the day, I’ll finish packing everything, including artwork (which really is what’s left). I decided to re-pack my clothing -- especially the cold-weather stuff -- into those vacuum-tight bags. This way, I can get them into smaller compartments, since I am so worried about
