This fabulous residence was designed by Robert Maxwell, the renowned Canadian architect who designed the Chateau Laurier Hotel in Ottawa, the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City and countless fine estates in and around Montreal in the late 1800’s. My client acquired the property in 1988...at the time the Main House was carved up into 2 separate dwellings. The challenge was to both restore the property and to re-unite the spaces into one contiguous and fluid domain.
