Gregorio’s My World
This particular My World was a pretty big challenge. One of the driving factors with the chosen style for this piece was that Gregorio doesn’t move around much when he’s speaking. I therefore wanted to try using customized vignettes or bezier curves to basically cut him out from the rest of the scene. As I neared the middle of the piece, I started noticing that he started moving around a bit more. So I went to the Color User’s Manual and learned more about keyframing. One thing that I really like about Color is it’s easy keyframing interface. So animating these custom vignettes was not a hard task, just really time consuming, which required a lot of attention to detail.
The typical One Cubed “signature” for these My Worlds is an oval vignette for a framing look. Since we’re raising the bar with each new project, I decided to go for a rectangular vignette as the frame instead of the oval.
Even though these videos are in Portuguese, which I don’t understand at all, I really enjoy working on these videos not because they’re fun to put together, but because of the message that they share. These are real people who have been through real trying times in their lives who have experience the one, real, true God, who has changed their lives forever.
