KID’S PROGRAM

Liturgy: The 11 am Sunday Liturgy is great for children. Hold a candle, read from the Bible, walk in the procession, participate in the homily and other parts of the service. Lots of outdoor toys for after church!

Toonie Movie Nights: Check the calendar for kid’s movie nights in the fall and spring. Includes pizza!

Special Events: Decorate our humungous Christmas tree, come see St. Nicholas, experience our New Year’s “Malanka”, come out for Family Skate day, decorate Ukrainian Easter eggs, prepare your own Easter basket, perform music or songs at our annual parish events, and many more activities for children.

A large number of children make up St. Joseph’s parish. Their participation is an important part of our community. Even families who attend without knowing anyone quickly feel part of a warm and child-friendly community. Sunday Liturgy is a weekly opportunity for families to pray, learn something special about their Christian faith, and enjoy the blessings of faith, friendship and community.
