In anticipation of autumn’s pageantry of colour, St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church presents an annual outdoor festival inspired by the exciting sights, sounds and scents of true Ukrainian hospitality. Spend a few hours with us and you will:

  1. become mesmorized by the artistic choreography of the youthful “Barvinok” dancers;

  2. enjoy the energy of Ukrainian dance bands;

  3. sample and savour Ukrainian cusine;

  4. enjoy wandering through a small market of craft vendors;

  5. watch the children play in the Children’s Village;

  6. sit with friends and enjoy a glass of wine in the sheltered beer garden;

  7. clap, sing & laugh along with “Barabolya” and other entertainers;

  8. enjoy the relaxed and majestic ambience of southeast Oakville.

Our annual festival is a true labour of love. Many volunteers within and outside the parish will come together to provide an enjoyable experience like no other. Should the weather prove to be appropriate for being outdoors, we can just about guarantee a delightful and entertaining festival experience. Bring a relative or friend and you will create a memory for moths afterwards.
