MMB2.0 TODO List
This is a list of (some of) the things that still need to be done for the Midnight Mars Browser 2.0 development releases, in very rough order of priority...
- Proper image selection mechanism
- Import/Export/Delete
- “On the fly” color image adjustment
- Pans keyed by metadata instead of which images are downloaded
- Command to hide selected image in pan mode
- Combine Image Info and Panorama Info into one Properties view.
- Pancam site image support (maybe)
- Command sequence description metadata (maybe)
- “Black and white” option movie export
- Other rover model controls (lighting etc.)
- Everything in the Edit menu
- First, Last Image/Location commands
- select size of panorama view
- Software Update should be modal or at least have progress indicator
- De-selecting image in Images list doesn’t work right on OSX (screen update glitch)
- Slideshow image magnification controls
- Progress dialog while rover model is loading
- Clickable hotspots
- USGS data for rover model
- “Reset Last Download Time...”
- “Limit to latest images” does nothing if there was no update since startup
- option to create directory when creating new workspace
- Error in downloaded metadata showing “Sol 1-630” in Locations tab for Sol 1.

- Handle customized directory names/locations from MMB1.x installations (directories other than rawImages, generateImages)

- Panorama resize refresh issue on Mac
- (Proper) Panoramas in anaglyph mode
- Single Image Viewer Editor and “Open Current Image” command (?)
- auto-center for panorama mode (?)
- Table selection does not always appear correctly on Mac OS X - this is a known issue with the Mac version of Eclipse.
- All application support files should be packaged within the application bundle on Macintosh - this is how Eclipse works, so it may take awhile to work around this one.
- Fix so can view only drive images in panorama mode (or solar filter images, etc.)
- “Rotate” command to do a full spin in panorama?
- Sol Info metadata?
- Determine image list based on metadata as well as downloaded images (?)
- Auto-update and auto-check-for-new-images
- “Load Image Full Resolution” command for panorama images loaded at reduced resolution
- Export to PanoTools command; clean directory option; adjust image option
